The Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) Marketplace consists of multiple third-party content ranging from:

Aircraft. All aircraft on the Marketplace are intended to be fully-flyable.
Avionics. Those devices installed in the aircraft which provide numerical or graphical indications of flight parameters.
Airports. These airport packages replace the airports included in the simulator, whether originally hand-crafted or auto-generated.
Bundles. This category includes the free optional World Updates for the simulator, the free Aviators Club Livery package, and occasionally featured aircraft or airport combo packs on a rotating basis.
Landmarks. Packages in this category replace objects such as buildings, bridges, water features, or sculptures.
Scenery. This category includes replacement regional terrain meshes, lighting, or runway graphics.
Activities. Includes additional bush trips and training courses.
Living World. Packages in this category improve ground handling equipment and animations, especially for airliners.
