Flight Sim Wiki is moving to Wiki.gg
It's now Official news.
The Flight Sim Wiki has moved to Wiki.gg. Fandom is history. When this Wiki was created it was barren and deserted so I requested to adopt it. It took months but I finally revamped the wiki to add in support of multiple games rather than just one title. Later on, Thadius856 found us and thanks to him the entire wiki got another revamp when it comes to content management, packages, styling and much more.
But sadly, old things need a new light to shine on this project... So we welcome Wiki.gg.
Moving to Wiki.gg comes into no shock. This discussion was had although I couldn't do anything while still in contract with Fandom. Over the time working with Fandom I helped over 200 wikis revamp layouts, theme's and add in conten…
Problem with Microsoft FS 2020 Update
I have tried for hours to get Flight Simulator 2020 installed. I am trying thru Game Pass PC. The problem is not downloading the initial program but the updates. The release is 1.12.13.0 This program has been taking an eternity to decompress fspackage.030. This thing has been trying to accomplish for the past 3 hours. I have never seen a program so slow! I am at the point that I would rather remove the whole program and go to X-Plane 11, which might not take as long to download and install. I have a 3950X processor with a 2080 Super Graphics Card. Also 32GB of 3200 speed memory. Is everybody else having this same issue?

MSFT – Well this is awkward...
Finally, the team would like to take a moment to call attention to AVSIM mod 188AHC. Your effort and contributions do not go unnoticed. Thank you.
Next update coming August 8th!
Sincerely,

This sentence from Leonardo da Vinci embodies the driving force behind the Microsoft Flight Simulator team. And while all of us have our own personal associations with flight, the entire team is committed to the singular goal of capturing the artistry, mastery, and essence of flying. We believe part of achieving that goal is taking a moment to recognize pivotal steps in our development process, and today is one of our biggest. The culmination of time, effort, technology, and collaboration was edited into a 1:30 second video shown at the Microsoft Keynote presentation this year to kick off E3 2019.
On behalf of the entire Microsoft Flight Simulator team, we humbly and deep…
