The Beechcraft Baron is a family of civil utility airplanes manufactured by Textron Aviation Inc., formerly Beech Aircraft Corporation.
The family consist of the two main types:
- The Model 55 series which was manufactured from 1961 until 1982, which was the main series of the aircraft.
- The Model 58 series which was manufactured from 1969 to present day. It offers a 10" stretch to the fuselage, more powerful engines, and an increased gross weight.
